OK. I'm going to attempt to do something here that I thought would be kind of fun. I began scrapbooking in 1996 when my friend Heidi invited me to a Creative Memory party. I was hooked immediately, well with all those cool border rulers and decorative scissors and not to mention the stickers!! I was in heaven!
So, every Friday I though it would be fun to show you how my scrapbooking style and techniques have changed over the years. Laugh if you will, but while you do, try and remember back to when you started scrapbooking. Maybe you could dig some of your older books out and share if you dare!
(By the way, I don't mean to offend anyone by this post, if you still use these techniques and product, keep up the good work. It really is quite lovely).

Check out the borders and the diecuts and I sure knew how to use a calligraphy pen!

I was getting really creative here creating my own yellow brick road. I remember thinking this page rocked.

OMG Beth!!! LOL :) I am pretty sure I have many, MANY pages that look like that! Thankgoodness for style change ;) I will have to play along....next week!! Thanks for giving us a walk down that *yellow brick road*!! (BTW, that LO is pretty darn good for way back when!)

I haven't been scrapping quite as long as you and I have never been to a CM party, so I didn't get into all of the trapezoids.
I think the yellow brick road could use some stickles!

I think it is so awesome you've been scrappin' as long as you have been, no matter what you started with :) Fun idea...I'll post some of my first pages, too, this week, though I never was at a CM party either.
Oh boy...Beth you are so fun,this is a great idea. I will play along this coming Friday. As far as your layouts, your style has definately changed as well as your hair. I challenge you to get out that hexagon template again. I want to see a hex LO hanging in the store.
